Wandering Ranger Therapy was created for people who don’t quite fit into traditional therapy spaces.

For those who think deeply, feel intensely, and often find comfort in imagination, story, and fantasy, rather than clinical language and sterile rooms.

Here, therapy is still professional, ethical, and evidence-based but it’s delivered in a way that feels warmer, quieter, and more human.

Over the years, I noticed something important.

Many people who struggle with anxiety, overthinking, and emotional overwhelm already understand growth through story.

They know what a quest feels like.

They understand inner battles, shadow work, and transformation.

They just don’t resonate with cold clinical language.

Wandering Ranger Therapy exists to bridge that gap, combining professional therapy and hypnotherapy with metaphor, imagination, and gentle storytelling to make emotional work feel safer and more accessible.

I’m Sean and I’m a qualified therapist and hypnotherapist with several years’ experience supporting people with anxiety, confidence, and emotional regulation.

I work primarily with people who feel a little different, a little introspective, and often more at home in fantasy worlds than mainstream self-help spaces.

My role isn’t to “fix” you

I’m Sean and I’m a qualified therapist and hypnotherapist with several years’ experience supporting people with anxiety, confidence, and emotional regulation.

I work primarily with people who feel a little different, a little introspective, and often more at home in fantasy worlds than mainstream self-help spaces.

My role isn’t to “fix” you or tell you who to be.

It’s to walk alongside you, help you understand what’s happening internally, and support you in building steadier ground beneath your feet.

The Hardest step is the first, after that it’s all downhill

Hypnotherapy is a state of focused attention and relaxation, not unconsciousness, and not mind control.
